Here is how I handle a non-paleo eating husband:
I make my paleo meal the core of our meal. Then I add in things for him
that he wants such as rice, white bread, potato chips or potatoes, ice
cream, etc.
I mainly eat low carb paleo - eating under 72 carbs per day. I originally
came to paleo from low carb since I desired to eat more and more naturally
with as little adulteration to the food as possible.
I have been eating low carb trending to paleo since 11/1996. In the first 1
1/2 years I lost 75 pounds and I have successfully maintained my weight
loss. MORE IMPORTANTLY, eating paleo low carb has improved my health
tremendously.

Hi, I just joined this list as I am starting this WOE next Monday after all
the 4th of July activities are over. I am married with 5 sons, <SNIP> I
have been trying different WOE for several years. I have trried several
low-carb diets and haven't been very successful as I end up with the same
problem every time: How do you stay with these WOE when your family will
not give up their junk and you don't always have time to prepare 2 separate
meals? <SNIP>
