The study was particularly bad. It looked at history of celiac. It
over 90% of patients in both the control and schizophrenic group. The
purpose of the study was to get a grant written to fund a serologic
study of patients with Schizophrenia, which would be an interesting
study. With the HUGE miss rate on the diagnosis the only thing that
should be concluded is that a serologic study is reasonable.
