I do not have that model, but I have a current Yaesu and I have had a
previous Yaesu and the method of programming an odd split is the same.
First, you program the receive frequency and PL, if applicable, into a
memory channel as you would for any repeater. Next, you go into the VFO and
dial up the transmit frequency that you desire. Then, you follow the same
steps as if you were going to program this frequency as a receive frequency
on the same memory channel as above, except, before you make the final press
of the memory button to put the frequency into memory, you press down and
hold the PTT button while you make the final press of the memory key. In
essence, this overlays the transmit frequency over the previously recorded
receive frequency. I hope this works for you.
