If it's an 80mm case cooling fan that's noisy, there are replacement fans
available that come with an attached potentiometer that allow you to vary
the speed and the resulting noise. Enermax and Y.S. Tech are 2 brands that
come to mind. By using a CPU temp monitoring application such as Motherboard
Monitor you can see what effect the different speeds will have. I think I
got the fans at newegg.com for about $7 each.
