I'm not sure if this applies, but, Go Back may be able to stay resident
during Fdisk. WD has a utility that should have come with the new drive,
or is on their web site, that writes zeros to the entire drive. I have
been unable to determine exactly what "entire" means to them. I did use
this utility with a drive I was having some problems with and the problems
went away. Perhaps??? this is what the computer used to Get GoBack out of
the way.
