I think you made a very good point...that people should wish Dr. Janneh well instead of bashing him.   Anybody has the right to condemn Yaya Jammeh's policies and his administration.  However, it is totally immoral and inhuman to hate him as a person.  We all should learn to "attack" issues, policies, arguments and stop bashing personalities with a vengeance.

Dr.  Janneh has a right to associate with anybody.
