I suddenly realize I don't know anything at all about bricks and I should.
My great great grandfather had a brickyard. I don't know just when he
owned the brickyard but it was before he came to Dummerston, about 10 mi
away in Putney. For those of you familiar with the Putney Inn, I think
someone on this list mentioned it, it was there that the brickyard was
located. I know, that's an awkward sentence but I'm too lazy to fix it.
Blame it on the snow, the plows woke me up at 3:30AM.
Maybe GGgrandfather made the bricks in the foundation here. Ruth
