I want to thank all of you who gave me flour suggestions. You are some
of the most helpful people in the world.

The number preceding the name is the number of people suggesting the flour.

    * 2 Authentic Foods rice flours. "more finely milled than some. No
      risk of any contamination." superior quality "cookies are not
      'grainy'." www.authenticfoods.com
    * 1 Lundberg rice organic brown rice flour (they also have
      nonorganic brown rice flour). "It is really finely ground and
      makes even better products than my old mill-produced flour did."
    * 2 Bob's Red Mill "guarenteed GF"  http://www.bobsredmill.com
    * 1 Ener-G Foods Bulk White Rice and the Bulk Brown Rice Flour "not
      grainy. They will sell in 50 lb bulk." http://www.ener-g.com/
    * 1 Ener-G Foods Tapioca Flour and Potato Starch Flour
    * 1 Ms. Robens. Arrowroot Starch flour http://www.missroben.com
    * 1 Ms. Robens flour [They didn't say which one(s)]
    * 1 Twin Mills Valley Sorghum Flour http://www.twinvalleymills.com/

    I've been substituting 1/2 the flour in the recipe with Sorghum, I
    normally make double batches so one recipe with the GF Flour Mix and
    one recipe with all Sorghum Flour which is mixed all together. My
    bread has never raised up so nice looking. It's fluffier, fuller
    and looks and tastes even better, and the bread is not embarrassing
    to take outside the house, I am impressed with the Sorghum, I bought
    25 pounds.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ one more to avoid.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think I'm using the same flours as you. Although my health has improved
compared to pre-GF, I am still reacting to something ... I buy rice flours at a large modern supermarket chain here in western Canada. They are not in the baking section with the gluten flours: they are in the import section on a relatively clean shelf with the rice noodles etc.
The brand name is different, Ivory Brand, product of Thailand, and the bag
has the name of the supermarket chain, so they must be packaged under a
private label name for this company. The bar codes are 852019-001606, 1613
and 1620. The name of the company is Nana Marketing Co.Ltd. in Bangkok,
Thailand. It has a telephone no. and address. It's a one lb clear plastic
bag with a square lacy border, in red for rice flour, green for glutinous
rice and blue for tapioca.
