11) My son is an adoptee from Korea. He had terrible, blistering diarrhea
when he was an infant until he was out of diapers. Even then, he never had
a firm bowel movement. We eliminated formula from his diet, and milked
goats for him. This did not help substantially. Finally, our family went
GF when it was discovered 2 years ago that both my husband and I are celiacs
(and by virtue of that, both our biological daughters), and suddenly he
improved as well. I figure, out of 6 in our household, 5 of us are celiac.
He gets a tummy ache when he eats wheat, and has diarrhea; I feel that there
is no need to test further to ascertain his exact status.
