I wanted my 2 yr. old son tested for Celiac, as I have it. He also isn't
growing, gets frequent bloody noses at night. I just went to our family dr.
who had to read up on CD. I went with a list of blood tests, but the only
thing he ordered was a CBC and (sorry about the spelling!!) an endometreosil
test. He came back anemic, negative for CD. I'm wondering if
I should let it go, or see a pediatric gastroenterologist who's more
knowledgeable? My only symptom before diagnosis was anemia. I have an IGA
deficiency, so bloodwork doesn't show how I'm doing on the Celiac diet, only
a biopsy. The dr. just told me to double up on his multivitamin. Thanks in
advance!!
Lynette in IA.
