Hi Listmates,
A recent post asked if any antibiotics are gluten-free. I just checked on
Cipro (Ciprofloxacin - the drug that was used during the Anthrax
outbreaks), made by Bayer Pharmaceutic Division, because I was prescribed
it for bacterial overgrowth of the small intestine. The pharmacist at Bayer
told me that all dosages of Cipro are gluten-free. Their phone number is
1-800-468-0894. I now insist that my doctor prescribe only brand, not
generic, antibiotics because I had a violent reaction to a generic version
of Doxycycline.
