on the opera web site, there is a link to some old scripts that may
help. I had an ini file for a version that was a ways back that
probably help now but basically, for you to stand a chance, you need to
configure it to use the same window for everything and not to open new
windows and there is an accessibility mode in it somewhere but I don't
remember where. It used to work fairly well even as late as jfw 4.0 on
windows millennium. I found that the scripts did not help here though
and access was spotty but possible.

Subject: Opera browser and screen readers
Does anybody have any information as to how to best make the Opera
browser
work with a screen reader? I just downloaded version 6.01 of the Opera
browser and installed it, but am having a rather difficult time getting
it
to work with JFW 4.02. At the moment I can't even access the menu bar
or
the drop-down menus without having to resort to the Jaws cursor.
If anybody has any information on things I might try as far as
configuring
the browser itself, or if there are any configuration files for JFW
and/or
Window-Eyes, I would really appreciate knowing about them.
Thanks,
Jim
