there have been many, many, many upgrades including a huge
"service pack 2' major installation upgrade.
should you purchase XP, insist the dealer provide you with the
very latest versions with as recent updates as possible
installed.
Also be sure you can afford the necessary upgrades to your
favorite software and screen reader, and that your machine has
enough hard disk, memory and speed to hack the beast.
If you''ve got a machine with a processor any slower than 1 GHz,
less than 256 MB of ram, and less than 20Ghz of hard disk, it is
going to be a big disappointment to you running XP.
If you're buying new, don't even talk about anything slower than
2GHz, with less than 1Ghz of ram, and less than 60 or 80 GHz of
hard disk.
