Dear listers,
I think it won't work anyhow, but not for the reasons Tom and Mark mentioned: you don't need to see the text to use this scanner as it scans the whole width of an A4 page at once and about one inch. It is true that you must carefully move it down the page but no need to see the text.
The bigger problem is dat it only stocks at best 200 Dots per Inch which does not seem to be enough for a good OCR to be performed later on.
I guess I'll have to wait a few more years... too bad, that sounded so interesting... Still if someone has an opportunity to try it out, I'd be interested to have first hand impressions from a VI person.
