I admit my ignorance about viruses and Ad Ware, so if these questions are
too elementary, please send the answer privately.
I just found, through the use of AVG, that I have two Trojan Horse viruses
on my Windows 98 machine at home. When I try to get rid of the Trojan
Horses by deleting the infected files, I am told that the files cannot be
deleted. Any ideas as to what to do?
In addition, I am working on another individual's computer. He just
downloaded Spybot, and it found Ad Ware on his computer. However, this file
is in the \windows\system directory, and Spybot says it can't delete the
file. He has gone to Windows Explorer and can't delete the file from there.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
