Good morning folks:
I am experiencing a problem with my newly installed JAWS 5 and wonder if
anyone else is experiencing the same.
When on a website and filling in a form, JAWS will read me the title of the
combo box, e.g month, day, year but when i hit enter for forms mode JAWS
won't read me the relevant information, i.e month, day and year. it will
say 1 of 12, 6 of 31, etc but won't read the actual months, yet when i go to
the same form via my lap top which runs JAWS 3.7 it reads the combo box
contents perfectly.
I am wondering if there is a verbosity setting in JAWS that I need to
change. Looking at the verbosity settings for internet Explorer I note that
there are ten listed in JAWS 3.7 and 41 in JAWS 5. Does anyone have any
suggestions, please?
Many thanks.
DOREEN YALE.
