Dan,

iTunes is accessible and will grab data from an on CD Database, and catlog,
and everything you are looking to do.

As for playing MP3's, WinAmp is very good. I would also download the
SqrSoft compressor from the winamp.com site (do a search for SqrSoft).
Winamp also has a ripper, but you have to pay the $15 for the full version.
I have not used it. But I understand that it does not access an online
database.

I use MusicMatch for ripping but it is not accessible with JAWS. It is very
tempermental with Zoomtext. I just like its editting functions.

Bottom line, to my knowledge, your best bet is to rip with iTunes, and play
music with Winamp in conjunction with the SqrSoft compressor. All is JAWS
accessible.

Mike

Subject: CD cataloger and ripper.

Does anyone have any suggestions for one of the CD cataloger and rippers?
You know, the kind of program that you just stick your CD in the drive,
and the software goes out and downloads all the info, puts it in a
personal database, artist, title, genre, blah blah blah, and also rips the
CD to MP3.

I'm messing around with Orange CD but it doesn't rip. I believe ITunes
does all this, but haven't tried it out yet. Anyone have any experience
with it?

Thanks.
