Problem with an older computer I have a friend who is using an older
Windows 98 machine with JAWS 3.2. Yesterday evening she was compacting her
email during a thunderstorm, and the computer rebooted - most likely due to
lightning.

Now she can send, but cannot receive, email. She gets the following error
message:

Error 0X80004005

She had a technician uninstall Outlook Express 4.72, then reinstall it - all
to no avail. Any ideas as to what is going on?

Thanks.
