Hi Doreen,

GIF is one of the image file formats supported by
The vOICe seeing with sound software. Pressing
Control O opens a file requester that lets you
import an image file which you will then hear.
Next, you can apply the zoom functions and move
around in the image using the arrow keys, apply
inverse video, and so on.

The software is available from the URL

   http://www.seeingwithsound.com/winvoice.htm

and may optionaly be used in conjunction with the
ifeelpixel tactile mouse software to also feel
the image.

Best wishes,

Peter Meijer
