HELP!! I have a DELL Optiplex GX200 with a Pheonix (??) bios rev A04,
CPU 933Mhz. I had it working great with Win2Kpro and 2 hard drives.
I want to learn about LINUX ( XANDROS ) and I installed an erased drive.
The computer could not find the drive, so I added another drive. It still could not find them, so I went into setup, made the 2 drives auto (they're set to
cable select) and checked the boot sequence. I tried changing it to -
floppy, CD, & hard drive, but I hit something wrong and now my bootup
is diskette ONLY! I can't get the full sequence. Can anyone please help
me restore it? I cannot identify the bios chip, so I can't use GOOGLE.
Thank you, AL SMITH
