  Matrox does do a lot of business in the video editting market, true.  But
the G-series AGP video cards -- G100, G200, G400/450/550 -- are all consumer-
market products with prices in the $100-$200 range.  (One doesn't
(primarily) judge GM sedans by looking at their GMC truck line....)
  Matrox has pretty much retreated from the consumer market, leaving it to
ATI and nVidia.  But when they were in the market, they made competitive
cards WITH DRIVER SUPPORT SECOND TO NONE.  If you can still find any of
these cards, and you don't need to go toe-to-toe with Radeon and GeForce on
3D graphics, then they're a great deal.
