No, I am running the standard licensed version of XP Pro (32-bit) and I have
ran 16-bit applications in the past, so I know I don't need a DOS box to do
this.
The application that I was trying to run is an updated driver (version
5.12.1.25) for the C-Media 9739 Audio Adapter. I have since found version
5.12.1.29 from a tweakers site and that driver installed without a problem.
Even though I don't need to run that application any longer, it would be
nice to get to the bottom of this annoyance. Thank you.
