Terrence,
Go to system properties and click the Advanced tab. Under System failure,
uncheck the box to Automatically restart.
The next time it fails, you will get a blue screen instead of a reboot with
an error code (something like 0x000000E2). Go to www.microsoft.com and
search the knowledge base for the error code you received and you will find
your problem.
Good luck,
Larry A. Kaduce

Subject: [PCBUILD] PC Freezing...
Hello All,
I have a Win2K generic box (196MB RAM, 233 MHZ processor) that
has started to "freeze up" on a daily basis and every now and then may
reboot itself while in various applications. So far I've run scandisk
(thorough), defrag and Norton SystemWorks 2002 without any success in
resolving the issues. Any suggestions would be gladly appreciated.
