Several people have given advice on how to enter the BIOS. Depressing the
"F8" or "F2" key will not get you into the bios to change the settings. You
did mention you couldn't get to the "F8"??? I'm not sure I understand that
explanation.
To enter the BIOS on a Dell system you may want to try one of these key
sequences if you haven't already.
Dell: - F1 or Del.
Dell: - Some require pressing reset twice
Dell: - Ctrl + Alt + Enter
Somehow I think you may have gotten there and if I were in your place I
would be frustrated as all get out.
There should be a way to set or re-set the boot sequence or undo what you
have done.
When you boot up, what manufacturer of BIOS do you have? Maybe that will tip
us off as to what we can suggest to get you back on the road again.
You may find the information you're looking for at this site.
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/opgx200/en/ug/sysetup.htm
It deals with your specific model and explains how to get into the "System
Setup where you will be able to reorder the boot sequence.
Please keep us informed of your progress.
Sincerely,
Frank Suszka

Can someone tell me how to restore the boot sequence in my computer?
I somehow changed it from floppy, CD, hard drive to floppy only, now it
won't start up!
OS Win2Kpro, P4 2.5Ghz in a DELL Optiplex GX200 rev A04
Thank you, AL SMITH
