I think this is the key to your problem and(IMO) proves that the problem
with your email account does not lie with your equipment.  There is
something wrong with your email as it is configured by Verizon.  I would
recommend setting up a new email "alias" to test things out.  Change your
email settings to use the new email account and see if you have any better
results.
