I use win98se also and purchased a 512MB Jumpdrive Pro. But I couldn't
get it to load the driver properly, and everytime I plugged it in I had
problems within a few minutes with the blue screen of death. I bought a
16 MB unit and it worked fine. I bought a 64 MB unit and had to download
a win98 driver but that unit also worked fine. But my 512MB Jumpdrive
Pro (for USB 2.0) always gave me problems. So maybe the driver for your
128 isn't really great with your system or perhaps if it is a USB 2.0
thumbdrive, it doesn't really like USB 1.1 (which it what a win98se
system usually uses).
Just my two cents worth of recent experience.
