My transition to a laptop is nearly complete. The only problem I've had is
getting high latency when using softsythns. The audio WDM driver developed
by the sound chip manufacturer sucks. Other peole I know who are attempting
to use the laptop and softsynths for live MIDI recording are also having
this latency problem.
