Hello Listers,

I have an old Acer Acros 486dx2/66 I am trying to add 128k or 256k of L2 or secondary cache to.
I got the settings for the jumpers from Acer's legacy support site, but unfortunately, it does not
say which size chips to use or which sockets to use for either configuration. There are 9 large chip sockets
(22 or 24 pin?) and a shorter socket (18 or 20 pin, probably for the tag ram chip). I hope there is at least one
"old timer" here who may have worked on one of these or has some experience installing L2 cache without the
factory instructions. Anybody got any ideas? TIA.

Regards,
Dale Mentzer
