Hi - I'm usually only listening to your interesting discussions. (Swedish female interested in nutrition.)

But as far as I know peanuts are no close relatives to nuts at all. Peanuts are leguminous plant 
(like peas, beans and lenses). People who are allergic to nuts often can eat peanuts. Others are allergic to peanuts and other beans like "soyabean" (correct english?)
