Many thanks for the correction. I sensed that either the venue or date or maybe both were inaccurate, but I could not manage to consult with our resident historian, M A Darboe, alias Luntang.

I just want to make a correction that the meeting was in Mansakonko and not Georgetown. Otherwise you have raised some very important issues.
I think you should consider writing a political history of The Gambia somtime in future.
