Hi all,
Was just reading through our local, community newspaper, when I saw an ad for the following restaurant in Mt. Eden, Auckland. Masala Dosa is a new restaurant specialising in Southern Indian cuisine. Their ad states " Masala Dosa highly recommends their Southern Indian dishes to people who require a gluten free diet, and have an exclusive vegetarian menu that will tempt the taste buds of the most particular vegetarian clients". They describe one of their specialty dishes made of Urad beans and rice flour made into a pancake, fried and rolled with different fillings, such as spinach or tikka. Sounds yummy to this ardent fan of Indian foods!!
I have no affiliation with this restaurant or its staff, but you can be sure I'm going to give it a try in the not too distant future!
Taste buds watering 'down under',
Jenny
