Thanks! Preg. is doing fine. By the way, if anyone else out there is
hypo, and wants some info on getting preg., email me privately. I'm
happy to share anything I've learned.
The Prescription for Nutitional Healing does not have any caveats re:
borage and estrogen. I'd say, if given an option, I'd obtain the
essential fatty acids and gla via black currant seed and borage if one
was concerned about estrogen.
Also, converse to the guy whose talk you heard, there are many women's
health specialists who believe women don't get enough estrogen, but as
natural estrogen not Premarin (which stands for PRegnant MAre's urINe).
Dr. Vliet, whose book we've brought up here, is one of those people who
is pro-estrogen. Also, Dr. Andrew Weil, while not pro estrogen therapy,
is very pro phyto-estrogens (natural estrogen promoters, like EPO and
soy products.)
Ah, so much to think about, right?
