It has never been this high. Also, my hands are warm! This is new. I

I switched from .05 Synthroid to 90 mg. of Armour a month ago, and I noticed
the warm feeling right away, too. Like you, I was almost uncomfortable, but I
thought perhaps it was because I was so unused to feeling that way. I had to
start dressing less warmly and all the things I've become accustomed to after
7 years of hypo.

I felt my energy return within the first week, and the worst of the mental
fog left, too. I imagine everyone reacts differently and at different times.
<<No headaches, chest pains or major jumpiness; minor hand tremors the first

No headaches, etc. here either. I didn't have the hand tremors at all. I was
amazed (and still am) at the relief from headaches I've received. Before, I
was having a severe headache that took over my day at least once a week.
<<Oh yes. And that craving for Japanese seaweed -- gone. I've got some

Nothing here, my reaction to Japanese seaweed, even on Synthroid, would have
been, well, . . .yechh!

Unless you can't stand the effects, or feel they might be dangerous, I think
I'd wait to see what happens for a while. I know my results changed
dramatically after 3 weeks. At that point, I began to feel the fatigue, etc.
creep back in, though I'm still not as bad as before. I'm not sure I
understand this, but maybe the dose initially was enough to revive me but
isn't enough for long-term positive effects. I will have a blood test done
and ask my doctor in a week or so.
<<BTW, I thought I had an equivalence chart of Synthroid/Armour, but I don't.
Had someone published one on the list recently?>>
I'd be interested, too. My doctor said the 90 mgs of Armour he was
prescribing translated to a little higher dose than the .05 Synthroid I was
on.
