Hi all:

I sure missed everyone while I was in the hospital for thyroid surgery.  I
have one question.  How soon after the thyroid surgery were you able to eat
solid foods, i.e. hamburger meat, pork chops, etc.?  I tried eating some
hamburger meat yesterday and it bothered my throat too much.  Also, does any
body have any idea how long the numbness in the neck might last.  Thanks in
