Is this taste a metallic taste...like you've been chewing on a
tin can? That taste along with the coated tongue and burning
are some of the symptoms I had with a Candida infection which
resulted from taking antibiotics.
After taking antibiotics, it's important to replace the friendly
bacteria. You can get acidophilus from a health food store. It
helps to cut out sugar and refined products from your diet, too.
If you have a severe problem, you may need antifungals prescribed
by your doctor. There are several antifungals you can get from
the health food store. Check with your health food store as they
can suggest some. Your library would be a good place to check
on books about dealing with candida.
