  Your right, you're not alone.  My husband and his twin brother were
just diagnosed with Hashimotos and are thus, hypothyroid and both are
very sane!  My brother-in-law went through the same difficulty you did
getting a diagnosis probably because of his gender!!  Hang in there and
ignore the ignorant!
