My wife's doctors can find nothing wrong with her. However, she receives a
vitamin B-12 shot (she has not been diagnosed with pernicous anemia) and this
makes her symptons of muscle aches and extreme fatigue go away for about 3
weeks. In addition to the symptons that the B-12 masks, she has occassional
quick weight gain (20-30 pounds in a month with no change in diet or
activity), breaking hair, ridges on her nails, dry skin, moodiness, irregular
mestruation (and part of her symptons such as this are masked by taking
demulen - and when she went on demulen 5 years ago she lost 40 pounds
quickly), severe allergies. Her thyroid is "normal" , or course. because her
TSH is within the normal range. Also, every doctor she ever visited
immediately thought she had a thyroid problem until tested. Just wondering
if anyone else has similar problems or advice.
Personally, I switched from synthroid to Armour six weeks ago, and I feel
alive again. Fortunately, my doctor was easy to convince to switch. Whe was
not familiar with Armour.
