Hi, this is the first time I've posted, but I've been reading the posts with
interests the past 2 weeks. I've been on Synthroid (.2) for years--but
possibly when I started on it, it was Armour. I know at that time I felt
wonderful; but currently I feel lousy. I don't understand how to figure out
what the equivalent dose of Armour would be to Synthroid.
I also have "hypogammaglobulinemia" which is a long, long name for a severe
deficiency in producing gamma globulin. I get IVs of IGg once a month, but
it still hasn't helped with a chronic susceptibility to bacterial infections.
Does anyone else with thyroid problems have this condition? Or a similar
one?
Also, I would really like to try Armour instead of Synthroid. Does anyone
know a doctor in Orange County, California? Or a referral source?
I would appreciate any input! This list is a wonderful help.
