Sandra,
I tried the diet immediately after getting the book and did not measure
myself. Just started. It worked for me. The recipes in the book are
extremely easy to make and are delicious. I just this weekend (three weeks
later) measured myself and figured out the proportions. It is really very
easy to do. It just takes a half hour of total concentration to figure it
out. I will start Monday with breakfast 2 blocks, lunch 2 blocks, pm snack 1
block, dinner 2 blocks, and bedtime snack 1 block. A total of eight blocks.
For breakfast I will have cantalope, honeydew, cottage cheese and a sprinkle
of almonds. Lunch will be either 1/4 recipe in the book or a grilled chicken
salad with the fat in my dressing. Dinner will be either chicken or beef and
vegetables (I will probably start adding 1/4 cup of pasta or potatoes now).
Snacks will be cheese stick, 1/2 apple and almonds, or fruit and Laughing
Cow cheese, or maybe fruit and deli turkey wraps. It's easy to figure if you
sit down with the book and make a list. I spend Saturday figuring what to
get at the grocery, buying it and cook on Saturday night and Sunday. These
meals freeze really well.
Good luck and e-mail me anytime.
Jan
