Hi

It has been stated on a couple of occasions that manufacturers of Codex
quality wheat starch have funded research into the suitability of wheat
starch based products in the management of coeliac disease.

Can anyone advise whether this is unsubstantiated rumour or verifiable
fact?

If the latter, can anyone identify the published research papers
concerned and give the evidence the research was funded from such a
source?

In any such case, were the researchers aware of the source of their
funding?

Thanks,
Graeme.
