Someone had posted a short list of acceptable restaurants in Orlando
some time ago, and I filed it away. We were in Orlando area this past
week, and I chose the Bonefish Grill for our family to go out to eat.
There is a menu on their website (www.bonefishgrill.com
<http://www.bonefishgrill.com/> ) with the gluten-free items marked, and
there are many dishes to choose from. I was so impressed that I ordered
an appetizer (bacon-wrapped scallops with spicy chutney), as well as
swordfish with a lemon butter sauce for the entrée.
Everything was delicious. The waitress was not familiar with the
gluten-free menu, but I gave it to her to take to the kitchen. I did not
get sick. The experience was very nice, since I didn’t have to ask my
usual list of questions, and also because there were so many selections.
Bonefish is owned by Outback Steakhouse. I wish there was a Bonefish
Grill in Houston!
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Gluten Intolerance Group checked this
restaurant out while they were investigating Outback Steakhouse. Going
out to eat is getting a little easier!
