Hi Everyone,

Our niece (age 31) is showing many symptoms of celiac disease, but she has had the blood tests and is negative.

She has also been diagnosed with endometriosis, fibromyalgia, interstatial cystitis (sp), irritable bowel syndrome and chronic fatigue syndrome, along with another rare female disorder that I can't remember the name. It is my understanding that most of the above are autoimmune disorders.

None of the treatment protocols that have been tried are working and she is not sleeping, losing weight, and generally not doing well. She is currently trying the GF diet, but it does not seem to be helping.

Does anyone have any suggestions that I could share with her? She lives in north central Illinois and attends grad school in Bloomington. Any suggestions for doctors that are savvy in handling multiple autoimmune disorders? Anything that you can share may be of help to her. (She goes to Iowa City to see two doctors and Peoria for another one.)

Thank you in advance for your help -- you are a great group of people!

Barbara in Missouri
