I know what you mean, Kyle; I've had to give up a lot of activities because of the lack of mobility. However there are ways to adapt. For example, you may not be able to stand in the midst of a steam to fish, but perhaps you could fish from a boat? Or a pier? I know that's a different kind of fishing, but it's fishing.

I used to backpack my way up to camping sites up in the Great Smoky Mtns. here in the Carolinas. I still camp; car-camping, it's true, but it's still camping. I had to adjust my attitude and take what I could get.

It was quite an adjustment, though.

to
terms with.

Kyle, I'm in my manual chair now, and that sucks. i'm getting shoulder
strain now from what little I'm pushing. I'm so used to my powerchair
that
i know what you mean. Do you think a scooter could help you? They also
have some powerchairs for the high end users, like me. A few of them can
go
10 mph or more!.

I can sympathize with you bud, but why is being in a chair a terror of
yours?. If a powerchair can liberate you from pain and tiredness wouldn't
you take it? After all, your feet aren't where your brain is, right?
