You don't need a microphone, but if you want to fully participate via voice
then I suggest you pick one up at your local wal-mart, the $8.00 one should
do fine. You will need speakers and can get by using text for communication.
You may want to go over some of the features of the web conferencing client
and connect to the web conferencing room before hand to be sure you are able
to connect and understand how to use some of the conferencing features.

Subject: QUESTION ABOUT WEB CONFERENCING

Hi all:
I have signed up to the Macros web conference later today which was
publicised on this list about two weeks ago.
I have never taken part in a web conference. Do I need a microphone or can
i type in like MSN Messenger?
Any tips would be helpful.

Re my MS DOS games issue. I will report to the list once I have tried out
the several suggestions that were suggested. I have been away from home for
a couple of days and not gotten round to it yet but will report to the list,
I promise.

Meanwhile, your web conferencing thoughts would be appreciated.
Warm regards:
DOREEN YALE.
