They are referring to the funds already contracted by the various governments over the period of time. My argument here is that if the cost of revamping the State House (which I may dwell in some day) is more or equal to the cost of building a new Presidential Palace, the Donors may construe this to be parallel to a wastage of the said funds.
In short, I want to know how Gambia's prospect would fare in this debt relief package in the midst of the work on the State House and the alleged funds being spent on it. Certainly, the refurbishment of the State's property within reason should be acceptable to every fair minded Gambian.
