I could go to next oct. but, I have been told that I can apply for temporay
disability pension while they are taking time to see what they will do. This
is how it works.
Cdc will put me on leave without pay. I send in the request, with a doctors
statement that he does not want me on the job. In a matter of weeks, I am
supposed to begining to draw the temporary pension. Retro to when I was
first on leave without pay. Also I can go back and recover the leave I have
used. I'll look into that. I may not think it worthwhile. When you retire
you are not paid for the sick leave anyway. I do not know how long it will
last. I am not aware of the time limits on the temporary pension.
