Bonnie,

Gardening?  You mean, like flowers and bushes and carrots?
Things that the Alleged Deity made grow for billions of years, before we started messing around with them?  And worse yet, trees that block views of historic buildings?

As opposed to historic buildings, which DO need our stewardship and care....and big bucks spent on design and construction professionals, and cyclical maintenance plans.
