Please Ralph, Do tell more about Prince Charles' aspirations. I hadn't
heard about that. Ruth

Ralph, They paved the creek bed?????? Why? Isn't that illegal??? Did
the fish like it that way?? Ruth

Well, see, it started out as a creek bed, but was used for a flood control
channel. Weren't no fish to speak of that I ever saw in there, although as
I remember there may once or twice have been what mah granny would have
called "minners," and I definitely remember pollywogs (not them other kinda
wogs like Pyrate hangs around with) and millions of frogs one summer (maybe
1958).

Weren't no PETM or PETP then, much less an EPA, and nobody'd even dreamed
up the notion of an EIS. Plus, Prince Charles didn't come to visit and ask
the little buggers if they liked the proposed paving, or tell them he
aspired to become a feminine hygiene product.

Simpler days, indeed.

Ralph
