I did think of a limitation in my logic after I posted, (more later),
but finding 30,000 volts inside my computer case was not something
I might have been expecting... If it "was" in there, I would be dead before
I got the first screw out to open it up. <grin>...
This list (in general) has always warned about NOT opening up a monitor,
and I do not believe that was mentioned in the question...
It might be a poor idea to "ground strap" one wrist, and then stick your OTHER
arm in the computer.
Since this is a very critical area to get the details absolutely correct,
and discussions about power circuits are (or were) generally discouraged
in the past, I will not elaborate on it any further...
