yes, it is a serious charge. it appears that the
infomation and susequent charge has been there for two
years. the "addiction" if there would have came out of
the meds prescribed during the coclear implant
operation time wise. i do not know how much pain would
have been involved, but, regardless you have to seek
help when you get "on" pain meds and get off them, not
keep buying "on the street."  that is assuming the
truth of the allegations. they came from the national
inquirer. not a baston of tructh. but, the police are
investigating. maybe we'll know the story after their
investigation.
